Continuing on “Adding Value”
Atmospheres are created by our responses to spiritual influences. Faith always creates more faith.
The Kingdom is never about self-preservation. It’s always about increase, enlargement, adding value.
Value – how we make lives better, bring order, blessing, abundance etc. We find areas of need and meet these needs. Improving lives and lifestyles. Value is the key to success.
God created things of value, brought order out of chaos.
Man is called to multiply value. God is always multiplying and expanding.
Finding ‘voids’ and going about filling these ‘voids’.
Our commission? Depositing/investing value into lives; into God’s creation.
Take what’s been initiated and expanding it into our community.
We’re grateful for what we have received and as part of that, we aim to increase and share what we have with those around us.
Is there an outflow from our lives? It’s a natural process. Value in then added value out.
Don’t become consumers but become distributors, creators.
Eternal fruit stems from relationship with Jesus. We’re called to bear fruit. Fruit equals produced value.
Who is the fruit for? We need to understand the power we already have. The fruit is not intended for me! It’s all about how we impact those around us.
All orientation of anointing/gifting is outward.
We’re called to capture value, multiply it.
“Abide” – nature of abiding means to stay in a strong relationship. Not just visiting but abiding. Pursue relationship/connection, search for deeper emotional bonding. It will always be tested.
How we treat people affects the flow of anointing.
Church is an ecosystem dependent on positive synergy.
How is our relationship with one another? With the body of Christ?
This directly affects the level of value we can add to situations.
In order for value to flow, we must be connected, have a relational flow with others.
There’s always a value ‘chain’.
If there’s a glitch in one link of the chain the whole chain will be affected.
Our biggest challenge? Working with those around us. This can be a potential place of bitterness, offence that will stop the flow of anointing and therefore cease to add value. We need a heart to heart connection!
1 Corinthians 12:12 –
God has ‘set’ us into a body. It’s not just random, not just ‘kicks and giggles’.
People are building blocks of God’s Kingdom.
We’re not just visiting church, we are part of the building therefore we bring everything to the table.
We’re either manifesting or restraining our gifting.
Gifts are released to the body through relationship – this is the key!
We need to deal to our thinking, let go of the defences around our lives, be open and transparent.
Here’s what I have to offer. Release faith
- “There’s food at the end of my hands.” “With your food basket and my food basket, together all will be fed” Don’t be ashamed of your gift, give it anyway, and make it available.
Ask yourself, what are the gifts I am holding on to?
What are the gifts I need to release today?
